Spider Pinning Workshop - Virginia

Workshop Location - Vend Virginia Workspace - 1768 Sandgate Road, Virginia, QLD (upstairs via the cafe area)

Join us for an hour hands-on experience where you'll learn to pin and display two preserved spider specimens. The spiders that you will be pinning are two sizes of Orb Weaver Spider. This workshop is perfect for anyone wanting to learn how to arrange nature's beauty into a stunning display for your home or as a thoughtful gift!

What You’ll Learn:

🔹How to spread a hydrated spider specimen 

🔹Securing your specimen with pins for final display and drying 

🔹 How to mount your display in a frame for your very own take home art piece

Please be advised:

• stair access only to workshop space
• anyone 16 years old or under needs to be accompanied by an adult 
• hot glue, scissors, and sharp implements are used in this workshop, if you are unable to use these tools safely please bring along someone to help you.
